IFCDC Mental Health & Wellness Program

A full-spectrum, all-ages behavioral health initiative designed to stabilize, support, and strengthen our community from childhood through senior years.

Program Overview

The IFCDC Mental Health & Wellness Program delivers integrated, community-based behavioral health support for all ages. From early emotional development and youth resilience, to adult stabilization and senior wellness, the program functions as a centralized hub for mental health access, navigation, and support.

Our strategy leverages partnerships with licensed clinicians, schools, community agencies, and senior-serving organizations to create a seamless ecosystem of care and connection.

Children (Ages 4–9)

  • Emotional development and coping skills
  • Behavioral and developmental screenings
  • Parent–child bonding and support
  • Early trauma identification and referrals

Youth & Teens (Ages 10–17)

  • Anger management and conflict resolution groups
  • School-based wellness pods and workshops
  • Trauma-informed support and mentoring
  • Gang- and violence-prevention alignment with IFCDC programs

Young Adults (Ages 18–29)

  • Stress and life-transition support
  • Violence interruption and crisis navigation
  • Career and life stability coaching
  • Connections to housing, education, and employment resources

Adults (Ages 30–59)

  • Support for anxiety, depression, and trauma
  • Family and relationship mediation
  • Crisis stabilization and safety planning
  • Referrals to therapy, psychiatry, and community services

Seniors (60+)

  • Social isolation and loneliness mitigation
  • Grief and loss support
  • Cognitive and emotional wellness activities
  • Caregiver and family support connections

Core Service Pillars

Counseling & Navigation

Screenings, support sessions, and coordinated referrals through trusted clinical partners, ensuring residents know where to go, who to call, and how to access care.

Crisis Stabilization

De-escalation support, safety planning, and warm hand-offs to emergency and crisis services when residents are in immediate distress.

Trauma-Informed Care

A cross-cutting approach baked into youth, adult, and senior support—recognizing the impact of trauma and centering healing, dignity, and safety.

Wellness & Life Skills

Workshops and groups that build coping skills, resilience, and life stability to help residents manage stress, relationships, and daily pressures.

Community Healing & Peer Support

Healing circles, peer-led support groups, and intergenerational engagement spaces that rebuild trust, connection, and community cohesion.

Integrated Across IFCDC Programs

The Mental Health & Wellness Program is fully integrated with our Anti-Gang, Transitional Housing, Economic Development, and Scholarship initiatives, providing behavioral health support that strengthens outcomes across the entire IFCDC ecosystem.

Confidentiality, Mental Health Records & Release Policy

The Imperial Foundation Community Development Center (IFCDC) protects all mental health, medical, and wellness-related records with the highest level of confidentiality.

Executive Custodian

All protected health information is managed under the authority of: Mr. Fahreal Allah – Owner & Executive Director. No records are shared, released, or accessed without his approval.
