A full-spectrum, all-ages behavioral health initiative designed to stabilize, support, and strengthen our community from childhood through senior years.
The IFCDC Mental Health & Wellness Program delivers integrated, community-based behavioral health support for all ages. From early emotional development and youth resilience, to adult stabilization and senior wellness, the program functions as a centralized hub for mental health access, navigation, and support.
Our strategy leverages partnerships with licensed clinicians, schools, community agencies, and senior-serving organizations to create a seamless ecosystem of care and connection.
Screenings, support sessions, and coordinated referrals through trusted clinical partners, ensuring residents know where to go, who to call, and how to access care.
De-escalation support, safety planning, and warm hand-offs to emergency and crisis services when residents are in immediate distress.
A cross-cutting approach baked into youth, adult, and senior support—recognizing the impact of trauma and centering healing, dignity, and safety.
Workshops and groups that build coping skills, resilience, and life stability to help residents manage stress, relationships, and daily pressures.
Healing circles, peer-led support groups, and intergenerational engagement spaces that rebuild trust, connection, and community cohesion.
The Mental Health & Wellness Program is fully integrated with our Anti-Gang, Transitional Housing, Economic Development, and Scholarship initiatives, providing behavioral health support that strengthens outcomes across the entire IFCDC ecosystem.
